West Virginia Small Business Development Center

In 1983, the West Virginia Small Business Development Center (WV SBDC) was established through funding by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to test the concept of leveraging federal, state and higher education resources to assist entrepreneurs and spur economic growth. The program proved successful. Since its founding 35 years ago, the West Virginia SBDC has helped tens of thousands of entrepreneurs to start new businesses, create and retain jobs and obtain millions of dollars in capital to start and grow their businesses.
