CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Today, the West Virginia Small Business Development Center (WV SBDC) announced two new team members, Lisa Knell and Neeley Satzer.
Knell, a lifetime resident of West Virginia, has been named as the SBDC’s new Administrative Secretary. She brings a wealth of experience and has served the State of West Virginia for nearly 17 years.
She has experience with the West Virginia Center for Professional Development, the Public Defender Services and the Community Advancement and Development Program.
Satzer has been named as the new Potomac Highlands Business Coach. She has a doctorate in organizational leadership from Northcentral University, an MBA from Waynesburg University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in finance from West Virginia University. She holds certifications as a Society of Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and Associate Professional in Human Resources (APHR).
Neeley is returning to the WV SBDC as a full-time business coach in the Potomac Highlands, concentrating in Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Mineral, Pendleton and Tucker counties.
She was previously a coach in the Northern Panhandle and has worked for the SBDC as the program training coordinator and a part-time business coach. In the time between working for the SBDC, Neeley has held a variety of positions in higher education, teaching at several different colleges and universities.
“We are thrilled to add these two highly experienced people to our team,” said Steve Johnson, Director of WV SBDC. “We are confident the knowledge they bring to the Network will help our clients continue to grow and be successful in our state.”
